Dear Parents/Guardians:

Beginning November 4, 2013, parent/guardians will be able to access their child’s 2013-2014 information through our student management system, InformationNOW (INow) Home Portal. The following information will be available: attendance, current grades, schedules, progress reports, and report cards.

Complete the following steps to create a secure password for your account and to access your student’s information. To ensure that your student’s information remains secure, please complete the following process immediately upon receiving this notice.

Step 1 – Login to the iNOW Portal

 ·         Access the Pickens County Schools website: www.pickenscountyschools.net

 ·         Go to the Parents & Students section

 ·         Click the Link called INow Parent Home Portal.

 ·         Enter the following information:

Username: student; Password: pcboe054---a second screen will appear

 ·         Enter your child’s username and generic password provided by the school.

Once you log in you will be required to change the default password. Be sure the password you create provides an ample level of security. Passwords must be at least 8 characters in length and must contain at least one number and one letter. Be sure to record your new password in a secure location. We will not keep a record of password information on file.

Step 2 – Click on the option you would like to view from the menu bar on the left side of the screen.

You should now be able to see your child’s 2013-2014 schedule and other demographic information in a secure environment.

If you have more than one child in our schools and received different logins for viewing their information, you can submit a request through one child’s school to have your logins combined.

If you have any questions, please contact your local school’s guidance counselor’s office.

Sincerely,

Jamie Chapman, Superintendent
