I am a graduate of Pickens County High School and Mississippi University for Women's School of Nursing.  My career has been spent working as a staff nurse at DCH Regional Medical Center for 8 years and 18 years in the home health industry.  I began teaching Health Science at Gordo High School in August of 2012 and received my teacher's certification in 2013 from the Alabama State Board of Education.  

I have been married to my husband Ricky Junkin for 34 years.  We have two sons, Ryan 29 and Drew 27, two daughters-in-law, and two grandchildren.

My husband and I are life-long residents of Pickens County.
